Because storytelling is very hypnotic.
Stories are our heart’s way to travel, experience, connect, and learn.
When we listen to a story being told, we enter a trance and are transported to another reality. We feel the character’s life as our experience, we learn through the experience of another, we connect to things we never thought about much.
What are nature based stories?
In Nature based stories, things from nature play an important role and become the central character; the hero. When the storyteller performs traditional or cultural stories, we develop a deeper understanding and connection with the nature element. We start looking at that nature element with different lens. We remember and appreciate it more!
What is this session about?
In Nature & Stories session we journey through some traditional stories related to a nature element & have a few interactive games to deepen our connection to it.
The Nature Connections team has endeavoured to provide a space for people to deeply connect to different nature elements in creative ways.
Join us to know which Nature element our stories will be about. We promise you’ll want to hug this nature element after the session 🙂
The session will be co-facilitated by me, Anish Abraham, and Vaishnavi Vishwanathan. I am a story teller, actor, nature lover, artist, poet and a Bhoomi College Fellow in Holistic Education (Bangalore). Vaishnavi is an Expressive Art therapy practitioner, Forest therapy facilitator, Life coach and Leadership skills facilitator.
